Where to Get Smoothies in Downtown Baton Rouge
Third Street, the riverfront, the office towers in between — if you work or live downtown, a good smoothie should be a walk, not a drive. Here's how we think about ordering one.
Know what you actually want
A fruit smoothie is a refreshment. A protein smoothie is a meal. If you are replacing lunch, add protein and something with fat — nut butter, avocado or coconut — so it holds. No sugar is ever added to ours; the sweetness comes from the fruit.
Bowl or cup?
A smoothie or açaí bowl is the same base blended thicker, topped with granola and fresh fruit, and eaten with a spoon. It takes longer, and it feels like a meal — good on a Saturday, harder to manage on a walk back to the office.
What regulars order
Berries of Tchoupitoulas is our most-ordered blend. Camp St Motion is the bowl people come back for. If you want something lighter and sharper, a cold-pressed juice like Track Star does the job.
Getting it without leaving your desk
We deliver around downtown during opening hours — see smoothie delivery — or order pickup and we'll have it ready at the counter at 307 3rd Street.
